Leukaemia

Today, a friend told me that his 5yr old daughter has Leukaemia and they just discovered this 3 weeks ago. Made me wonder what people do to deserve to suffer so much... especially a young child. Even the family suffers. The poor girl is oblivious to her disease and has been told that her hair falls out just so it will grow back (like teeth). She's undegoing cheimo and because of all the needles and things.... shes got buises all over.
This sort of thing could happen to anyone. Why is it that we never think it can happen to us? Why is life so harsh on some, while some have it pretty easy? Maybe its karma? But dont u have to believe in reincarnation to believe in karma? Why should you suffer now for somethin you did in ur previous life of which u have no recollection?

Anyhow... I like to think that shit happens to the best of us, cuz the dude up there knows that we're the ones that can handle it.
